Here is Healthy Eating Tip #2 – Hidden Veggies!
Sometimes, getting kids to eat their veggies can be a challenge. When I make tomato sauce, I like to add hidden veggies! I will add diced onion, grated carrot, diced celery, diced zucchini, minced garlic, diced bell peppers, baby spinach, roasted red peppers, etc. to my tomato sauce (or storebought prepared sauce), heat through and then puree so they cannot be seen!
